Together with your colleagues of the sub department Accounting & Reporting, you are responsible for executing and reporting the financial administration of our three business groups: fertilizers, ammonia and melamine and the different legal entities within the OCI Nitrogen Group.
It is your joint challenge to ensure the in-time delivery of correct financial and management information to internal and external stakeholders on a monthly basis. You do this by analyzing, collecting and reporting relevant quantitative and financial data in order to meet compliance standards and enable stakeholders to make decisions based on reliable financial information. One of these stakeholders are the business controllers, with whom you cooperate closely, as the business controllers rely heavily on your input in analyzing the main profitability and cash drivers. Together with the Team Lead Accounting & Reporting, you take care of the quarterly audits of our external auditor and support the annual statutory and fiscal reporting process.
You have attained a bachelor degree (HBO) in (business) economics or accountancy and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting & Reporting position. Next to a solid understanding of general accounting standards (IFRS), a critical attitude with strong analytical skills and accuracy are a must. Working under time pressure and coping with strict deadlines are part of the job. We look for an eager and energized person with a positive (can do) mindset. Someone who can work independently and is self-initiating, but who can also easily interact with people on all levels within the organization and is a team player. You make the most out of your job by showing a flexible, customer oriented and pro-active attitude. You have affinity and/or experience with financial information systems, mainly SAP FICO, but also HFM/Hyperion and SAP BPC. Enhanced skills in other (supporting) systems, such as PowerBI and Excel, are very much appreciated. Finally, you have excellent communication skills, in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
