CRB Benelux BV is an innovative R&D lab for material science focused on products for personal care and make up. CRB Benelux screens and tests raw materials and new technologies to prepare a new range of formulas and products for cosmetics, skin and hair care. The team in Maastricht consists of 8 people. CRB Benelux is looking for a laboratory assistant for the cosmetics laboratory.

Laboratory assistant

The position The laboratory assistant works with laboratory devices and instruments and is responsible for mixing and composing ingredients and raw materials into samples, based on recipes and formulas. The laboratory assistant is responsible for labeling and storage of these samples accordingly.

In this job you also

• discuss results and consult with the R&D manager on a daily basis
• enter data and results in the computer system
• keep track of and update the database and the stock of chemicals
• actively search for possibilities to improve the product samples

The ideal candidate

• has a hands-on mentality
• is accurate, and has practical and flexible mindset
• works well independently as well as in a team
• knows how to show responsibilities and knows the safety rules
• has a good overview of tasks and projects, and knows how to prioritize
• has a degree in chemistry or laboratory technology
• has maximum 1 year working experience
• has experience with working with laboratory instruments
• maximum travel distance 25 km • has a good knowledge of Dutch and English
